Got a question that isn't answered here? E-mail me.

Q: What program do you use to make these videos?
A: I used to use Windows Movie Maker, which works fine and comes with every computer. Recently it's been giving me lots of problems, however, so I switched to mixing in Adobe Audition. It took a bit of getting used to, but I find that when you play around with a program enough, it becomes fairly easy to use. My audio editing is either done in there, or in Audacity.

Q: How do you come up with material for your parodies?
A: Lots of Red Bull. Oh, I'm also a very random person, and I don't get as much sleep as I should sometimes. XD

Q: Why isn't the background music the same as in some of the original episodes? That's dumb!
A: First of all, not every anime has an official soundtrack released, or released at the time I made the video. For instance, I made my Death Note parody before the OST came out and therefore I had to use different music. And even when the OST is released, it doesn't always come with the specific song used in the scene I'm doing.

Q: Why did you get banned from YouTube?
A: I used to upload my fandubs there and I got banned after some of the original companies contacted youtube to get their material removed. I did make another account after that, but I did not re-upload anything that was removed due to copyright.

Q: Will you teach me how to fandub/make parodies?
A: Sorry, but I don't have the time---I'm a college student and I also work two jobs, and fandubbing is just something I do in my spare time. However, this site has various tutorials on fandubbing which may help get you started:

Q: What is a fandub?
A: It's basically just an anime video with fans doing the voices instead of professional actors.

Q: That's lame. Why would I want to watch that when I can just watch the original episode?
A: We're not stopping you from doing that. The videos here are provided for those who do enjoy them as well as a chance for amateur voice actors to get their work out there. Many people enjoy showing their friends a movie in which they played one of the lead voices.

Q: How do you choose your cast members?
A: Occasionally I hold auditions, but a lot of times I look through the demo files and/or audition mp3s I have on my computer to find someone who fits the role. I am active on two very large voice acting forums and I almost always find the talent I need there.

Q: Can I be in one of the projects?
A: E-mail me a demo of your voice and I'll let you know if something comes up that you would fit. Please note that good recording quality and mp3 format is a must - using Windows Sound Recorder is generally not a good idea. If you don't know what I mean by a voice demo, here's mine as an example.

Q: Why do you always cast yourself in your projects?
A: To be honest, I usually fandub scenes which contain a character that I'm interested in playing (yes, most of all, I am a voice actress). I believe producers have a right to self-cast seeing as it's their own project, and I don't cast myself as characters if I think I can't pull them off well. I really don't care whether you like my voice for x character or not; it's my project and if I want to do a voice I will.

Q: Can you fandub/parody something from _______?
A: E-mail me with requests. I can't promise I'll do it, but I'll consider.

Q: What happened to ________  fandub?! Will you put it back online?
A: If a copyright holder requests that I take a certain fandub down, I will - whether I think it's fair or not. It's not worth shutting down this site just so I can keep a couple of videos online.

Q: Can I share these videos with my friends?
A: Sure, but please link back to this site or mention somewhere that I made it. IMPORTANT: Do NOT direct-link any of my videos---save them to your own server or use the streaming links. Also, if you post it to a website I'd love it if you dropped me a line to let me know! ^-^

Q. What does "aoi sora" mean?
A: It's Japanese for "blue sky". Silly, maybe, but I liked it.

Q: Uh...your guys' voices sound way off. It's not like the real show at all.
A: There is not much point in trying to exactly imitate dub voices. People can just watch that. Sometimes it's more fun to come up with an original voice for a character, or sometimes we're basing it after the Japanese versions. Also, it is very hard to sound exactly like a different person. Please try to keep an open mind and I'm sure you'll see that the voices do match up and fit the characters.

Q: Are fandubs legal?
A: Please see our disclaimer for legal info.
